Discussion Board Features

- You can be creative with your posts by using different colors, quoting from other people's posts, and adding polls, pictures, and videos. When creating a topic, point your mouse to the various icons to see what they do. You can add a picture by clicking "add file" by the Attachments field.
- When you reply to a topic, the last few posts show up below the area where you write your post, so scroll down to see them while you are writing. If you reply to a reply, your response will still show up at the very bottom of the topic, not right under the reply.
- If you are browsing a category, you can point your mouse to the topic titles to read the first part of the topic without clicking on it.

@bookwormjo okay that works
Um also I have some more info about Cal… just a sec
okay here it is
Pt 2 of Cal’s story arc:
Cal goes to Camp Whatever and is initially miserable. She joins Chris’s basketball-skateboard thing, to get her mind off all that stress and also to give the illusion that she’s a normal kid with no problems at all!!!! And then she gets a text. From a mysterious number. Who threatens to share her hacking misdeeds with the world.
And Cal is like, “Oh, shootie-patootie.”
So she creates this program, (overnight so she’s sleep-deprived) to trace the texter. It’s running when Chris collides with her in an attempt to complete his crazy Operation Merlin trick. She drops her phone, killing it. (Hope this works with Abigail Artists plot??)
All of the stress — Her guilt at the damage she caused to innocent people, her anger at herself for being duped and unconsciously at other people for not realizing she’s going through something, her fear of both people finding out what she did and towards her TWO antagonists (the shady dude, and the vengeful blackmailer) her sadness at the termination of her friendship with Connor, her worry that her parents will never forgive her, oh and let’s not forget the pressure from counselors to win the competition —All of that stress EXPLODES in poor Chris’s face. She yells at him. Like, a lot. And of course she gets taken aside for a nice long talking-to about not threatening thy fellow camper and not using your electronic devices at unauthorized hours, if you please. And all the other campers are like “phone junkieeee” in their own private thoughts and kinda shy away from her because wouldn’t you be a bit wary around someone who seemingly blew up for a reason like that??
aand then the prank war starts. (Either Cal initiates it because she’s holding a grudge against Chris, or the pathfinders pick up on the tension between them and are like “Yayy! Manipulation and deception time!” And put the frog in Chris’s cabin knowing he’ll think Cal did it and retaliate.)
Cal wakes up with a raccoon on her chest. She is fond of animals, but not wild raccoons, or, namely rabies. After the ensuing chaos (lots of shrieking and jumping up on things and D.K. Trying to calm everyone down and keep everyone from being bitten. I’m hoping D.K can be Cal’s counselor..? )
anyway, the prank war is ON and neither side is backing down. Cal and Chris both feel wronged, and neither can/will see the others point of view.
aaand that’s all I got…? There are too many hazy details later on in the story and I don’t know all the things that are happening with the other characters. Basically the ending is, Cal gets help with her blackmailing issue (not sure how) and reconciles herself with all the people she’s been at odds with along the way, and hopefully gets to use her computer skills for good in the end to help resolve the climax (do you think there should be a bigger danger that all the campers have to unite to stand against?? Put aside the division from the prank war and work together to protect all that they know and love?! idk)
I was anticipating the google doc so much because i wanted to post a link to all my information and ten pages of brainstorming on my character so y’all can understand what’s going on in her head a little better… Please Mr Peckham, hear our plea!!
