Discussion Board Features

  • You can be creative with your posts by using different colors, quoting from other people's posts, and adding polls, pictures, and videos. When creating a topic, point your mouse to the various icons to see what they do. You can add a picture by clicking "add file" by the Attachments field.
  • When you reply to a topic, the last few posts show up below the area where you write your post, so scroll down to see them while you are writing. If you reply to a reply, your response will still show up at the very bottom of the topic, not right under the reply.
  • If you are browsing a category, you can point your mouse to the topic titles to read the first part of the topic without clicking on it.

@lickington Here are some that have worked for me:

  1. Find a quiet, secluded place. My school has a library, and I have found that it works for me.
  2. Listen to classical music. My teacher plays classical music while we finish our schoolwork.
  3. Pray.

Hope this helps! 😉

Hey guys! So the main question is: in the title.

And yes, I actually want to ask the opposite of your favorite food too. Huh? Too embarrassed to say it? Come on, I don't wanna be alone on this :<
Okay, maybe I'll do it first...

So my least favorite food is...yeah, I can't decide. I have many, but I like some foods a lot of other kids (AKA little goats if you go by old terms-) so I don't want to be called picky. That's kinda loose reasoning. But I hate bell peppers, mushrooms, eggplant...what is the last one called? I keep forgetting. Oh yes, okra. The green squishy thing with the bunch of seeds my mom sometimes puts in soups.

One time while I was in the Philippines visiting family, my mom forced me to eat eggplant. I don't trust any vegetable...fruit? that's purple and looks disgusting. I sniffed and took a bite of it and it tasted awful! I never wanted to eat any of the thing anymore, but my mom forced down a few more pieces before smothering the rest with ketchup. I'm being serious, and I don't know how she thought it would work, but...did you know people in the old days used to think ketchup could heal sicknesses? Maybe I'm being too specific, or maybe you just didn't live in those days to see this article. Understandable. But the ketchup trick did not work. I think I remember the same very day I threw up on the floor of the house...

Mushrooms? They're an enemy to me. My mom can't force me to eat those. Well, the first time I tried them, my mom actually managed to shove a fork full into my mouth and down my throat. In that way of saying it, it sounds like it didn't touch any of my taste buds. But I really did chew and eat...and taste it. I don't exactly remember how it tasted, but I gulped it down and then drank ten gallons of water to rid the taste. What? I didn't do that, but I should've.

Wait, who knew you could place text in the center?

OR THE RIGHT-

You can change the color?

Okay, enough goofing around. Last one I shall describe my hate of (since I did the list backwards)? BELL PEPPER. I hate hate hate that stuff! I'm going to gag just thinking about how it tastes. When it's a tiny piece of green bell pepper in a huge haystack with chips, lettuce, tomato, olives, onions, cheese, sour cream, and unidentified ingredient, it's totally fine as long as I don't taste it. But I usually put the food I don't like to the side of the plate, so I would end up eating it without even rice after I ate the meal I ACTUALLY swallowed. The skin which my mom makes the family eat is kinda weird to me with the inside going alone with it. It's kinda squishy but not as much as the juicy tomato I - ahem. The taste is something I just can't explain, and I don't want to for the fear of my brain reading the words and sending signals to my taste buds to taste what I described.

I just realized I also hate ginger. My mom used to put it in some perfectly fine tea and then made it unbearable. Since I am a single child however, it was bearable for 2/3 of the family. One day I told mom how ginger in tea affected life and she stopped doing that...while my dad insulted my tastes by innocently and quietly sipping ginger tea in the corner of the room!!!

Now for the main topic that I put off until now...WHAT'S YOUR FAVORITE FOOD? Hope I didn't gross you out before I went on to this question.

For me I love broccoli, spinach, any kind of beans, pear, apples...yes, I have a lot, including grapes. Yes, I like broccoli. For people who don't like spinach, the chef cooked it wrong, okay!? And some people don't like tomatoes, but I do. My dad eats sprouted tomatoes though...

I actually didn't like to eat blueberries once in my life, which is quite weird for me now. They just taste so good...unless they're frozen. Then thawed and accidentally made to warm. Nope! Where's the exit to the dining room?

Now I'm zooming out of this website for a few hours, see ya! And after only three little paragraphs of the main topic...
