There are many Bible verses discussing the heart because God’s word is clear that the condition of your heart is critical in your walk with the Lord. David writes in Psalms 51:10 “Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.”
This chapter in the Bible talks about repentance and it points to Who is the One Who creates a clean heart in us. God and His forgiveness can renew us to a steadfast spirit. David uses the word steadfast because it means to have a new resoluteness, to stand more firmly in purpose.
God’s greatest commandment to us it to “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. How do you love God daily?
