This situation could have gone several different ways, but the end result is something special.
During the summer, Cincinnati Bengals player Devon Still found out that his 4-year-old daughter had cancer. To add insult to injury, later on he also found out that he was cut from the team. At this point, he could have gotten angry at the team, or bashed them on social media, but he calmly understood the decision and moved on with his life. Check out the video for more details:
In Proverbs 17:27, the Bible says that a wise man uses his words with restraint and is even-tempered. This means that you should always watch your words, no matter what crazy things may be going on. Besides, you never know who’s watching and what blessings you’re missing out on by lashing out.
