I think what Jazmine said is perfect, life will throw a bunch of obstacles at you, and even if she doesn’t win a gold medal, just the opportunity to represent her country, her family, and herself is enough. As Christians, don’t we feel the same way? You won’t hear many pastors preach it, but not every Christian will receive their reward here on Earth. Imagine knowing that you are doing your best, but cannot succeed. It ultimately forces you to answer the question, “Why am I really doing this?” Are you doing your best to represent God or are you doing things for worldly success?
