Dirk Nowitzki of the NBA’s Dallas Mavericks is having an awesome summer! After the many years of trying, he finally led his team to victory in the championship game! He was awarded the MVP of the game and he is getting some much deserved recognition.
He got to throw the first pitch at a Texas Rangers game earlier this week. (He did MUCH better than John Wall did lol)
Then he traveled back to his hometown in Germany and he was welcomed with open arms. The picture below is him signing a young lady’s arm. Wow!
I think that Dirk deserves all the praise that he is getting because he worked hard and now it is paying off. However I saw this picture today:
Now, I don’t think that there’s anything wrong with this picture. Someone at Legoland took the time to make this 7ft statue! I don’t know how long it took but “Dirk” is made up of 35,000 Lego bricks and the trophy is made up of 4,000. This is cool, but for some reason it reminded me of the children of Israel when they made that statue of the golden calf.
Again, I don’t think anything is wrong with this Lego statue because I don’t think people will bow down and worship lol But all the same, we have be careful what we give our praises to because it may interefere with our relationship with God.
Do you have anything like that now?
