1 Corinthians 1:10 – Family

For the first time ever, all five Tar Heel Final Four Most Outstanding Players were in the same place at the same time.

The 2017 Carolina National Champions had mingled with nearly two dozen other Tar Heel National Champions before the Louisville vs. Carolina football game.

Ever since the Dean Smith era, Carolina’s basketball team has been known as a family. He treated every individual player manager the same, and reminding them to give back to the community in addition to being a basketball player. All of the former players from the 1980s, we came back for Coach Smith. And now they are coming back to honor Coach Roy Williams. Former players always express love towards their former teammates, and coaches.

1 Corinthians 1:10 states “I appeal to you, brothers and sisters, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree with one another in what you say and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly united in mind and thought.

Love is a very important and needed emotion in life, especially when it comes to your family. When we are born, family is the first thing we usually learn to love, and where we learn the meaning of love from. As we grow older and study the Bible more, we learn that we are to love God first, and family is only second to God.
