Chapter 6: God’s Punishment

When Adam came out of the bushes after they made some
clothes. More lightning flashed down from the sky again. Then God’s voice
flashed from heaven.

“Adam, where are you?” God said

Adam and Eve came out of the bushes.

“I-I heard your voice in the garden and I was afraid
because I was naked.”

At that Fred snickered. I elbowed him in the ribs.

“OOF!” He said.

At that I motioned from him to be quiet.

“You were that on who ebowed elbowed me!” He siad
said.

“SHHHHHHH!” I said.

Then God said. “Who told you that you where naked?”

“W-W-Well.” Adam said.

“Have you eaten of the tree whereof I commanded you
not to eat?” God continued.

“W-W-Well, the woman that you gave to me, she gave me
that fruit and I ate.”

Then God said to Eve. “What did you do?”

“W-W-Well.” Eve stammered. “The serpent decieved
deceived me and I ate.”

Then God said to the snake (who had crawled out into
the open). ”Because you did this you are cursed above all cattle and above
every beast of the feild field., on your belly you shall go, and dust
you shall eat all the days of your life. And I will put hatred between you and
the woman and between your seed and her seed and it shall bruise you head and
your shall bruise his heel.”

Then God said to Eve. “I will greatly multiply your sorrow
and your birth, in sorrow you shall bring forth children.”

Then he said to Adam. “Be cause you listened to Eve
and ate the fruit which I told you not to eat. Cursed is the ground and in
sorrow shall you eat of it. Thorns and thistles it shall it bring forth to you,
and you shall eat the herb of the field.”
