CHAPTER THREE
Mira grabbed her crutches and suitcase and headed out of the airplane with her mom beside her. She glanced around looking for Colton and saw him closing up his NASCAR book.
“Bye, Colton!” Mira said, waving.
“Bye, Miralee! I’ll keep in touch. and maybe we can even get together and have a play date!” Colton said.
“Yeah. Once we get settled in, maybe you could come to my house, or vice versa.”
“Bye, see ya,” Colton said with a quick wave of his hand.
Mira turned to her mom.
“How will we get to Josh’s house? Is he picking us up?”
“Yeah, he said he was coming in a silver SUV, so keep your eyes on the lookout!”
“Sure.”
“Oh, there he is!” Mira’s mom, Amber, said, picking up the speed.
“Well, look at there, if it isn’t sweet Amber and her beautiful daughter….”
“Mira.”
“Well, she goes by Miralee.”
“No, most people call me Mir…”
“Mira! Shh! be polite!”
“See, Mom, you just called me Mira.”
“Well, how about I just call you UM…Sparkles!”
“That’s a weird name.” Mira mumbled.
“Now you ready ladies? We’re going to have a blast! First we’re going to go to the mall, then out to eat; we’ll hit the ice cream shop and a few other stores. Here, let me take your suitcase, young lady. That had to be hard carrying it with those crutches. Ready, girls? Let’s have some fun!”
“Alright, Josh!” Amber said.
Josh opened the car door for Amber, and Mira had to open her own door, because Josh seemed to have forgotten all about her. Mira was right. Josh was rich. To hit all those places and pick anything you wanted, you had to have quite a lot of money. Mira glanced at her suitcase. not even Josh was going to stop her from reading the Bible. even if it meant for her life. She loved Jesus, and Jesus died for her, and if she had to, she would die for him.

“To hit all those places and pick anything you wanted, you had to have quite a lot of money.” SO TRUE. I mean, if you’re on a tight budget, you really do have to pick just a few from an abundance of options.
I can’t wait to see how this story unfolds! And I wonder what will happen if she gets caught trying to read her Bible!
yeah. Btw, I will post a story soon, so stay tuned!

JK, lol.
