“Relax, silly. I’m not driving away in his car,” Angelina explained to her troubled friend. “I’m just going to move it. You know, to mess with the guy. He’ll be all worried when he sees his car isn’t there, but relieved when he looks and sees it’s only parked somewhere else.”

“Uh-huh,” Avery replied warily. “And where would you be parking it?”

“Somewhere close-by, of course. Like his friend’s house right across the street.”

“Ok, but…..you know we could get in big trouble for this, right? Like, ‘serious-and-involving-the police’ kind of trouble,” Alyssa reminded the thrill-seeking girl in a desperate effort to try to change her mind.

“Don’t think like that,” Angelina told her, dismissing her concerns. “He won’t even notice. Now, are you coming or what?”

“Well…..if you say so,” Alyssa responded as she opened the passenger side door and got in. “I’m still not so sure if this is the best idea.,” she thought to herself. Angelina then reached for the gear shift, put the car in “Drive”, and began to move it forward. Just then, lightning struck. Startled, Angelina accidentally pressed the gas pedal too hard and crashed the car right into the nearby streetlight!

“Oh, no. Oh, no!” she shrieked. ‘What have I done?!”

“I told you this was a bad idea!!” Alyssa exclaimed. At that moment, upon hearing the commotion, a man ran out of his home and started heading towards the scene. He appeared to be in his sixties and was dressed very dapper. He had a single tuft of hair on his nearly-bald head and a very distressed look on his face upon seeing the car. When he reached it, he gave a sharp cry; “My car! What have you done to my car?!” It was Mr. Sanders!

~ Hey Guidesters! Glad I could finally get chapter 5 out! Sorry if it wasn’t good as the previous chapters, it sort of acts as a filler chapter to bridge what happened last time with what will happen next for Alyssa and the thrill-seeking, prankster Angelina.
