yeah sorry for the confusion, he's my pet rock!

Hmm . . . so your pet rock has a guide account. Cool! Can I give my (nonexistent) pet rock a guide account too? ;) :cheer:

How do I get my brothers to actually talk?
Usually, their default mode of communication is whining and groaning like they’re sick, sore ridden, homeless people.
Or, even worse, one of my brothers spells what he wants to say.
Me: Did you brush your teeth?
Him: *moving his head around* N.
*2 seconds later* O.

Or, Me: Where’s Joy
Him: *randomly spinning* O. U. T. H. S. I. D. E
Me: that’s not how ‘outside’ is spelt
Him: I knew that.

Technically, I should help them (cause that's the um. . .um . . Christlike thing to do) but whining is my pet peeve! It's . . .challenging

my little sister is 9. we're six years apart. when she was 2, she was really into biting me. I hated it and then one day I bit her back. try to imagine how the jaws of an 8 year old work into soft baby skin, then come back to me.
she never bit me again.

Hmm, I might try. I remember one time my dad whined back, and my brother laughed and replied in a voice slightly above a whine.
I’ve tried ignoring (usually when the younger brother sees me serving out food and starts whining) but then he starts crying, and I have to explain why I’m not serving him (“But, Dad, he needs to ask! He can’t just whine and get whatever he wants”)
