What's your definition of a friend?

I put 6-12 but most of them are in middle school. Idk what happened, but I've felt really disconnected to most of my friends in high school. And I haven't been able to chat with my best best friend in a looong time, and I miss her
![]() Tips, yall? idk why this is happening. Kristy says people like me because I'm nice to them, but being nice doesn't really seem to cut it anymore. Is there such thing as "too nice"? I mean, if that's what's going wrong, I won't stop being nice, I just want to know what's amiss. I think I'm making new friends, though, but I still miss the ones I made last year... And it's like everyone complains about everything, are proud when they skip class or procrastinate, and are not supportive to other people. ![]() |

A true friend is supportive, fun, understanding, loyal, and generally awesome. Hard to find, too.

I make friends easily, and loose them easily as well *shrugs*.

I’d say friends are people who value you, and make time for you, even when they’re busy.
They pray for you and support you. They’re willing to listen, and understand you. They aren’t bossy, but gentle. They’ll check up on you sometimes, and you won’t have to do all the talking. I think I have very high standards for friends.. And when I do find a friend, I’m always scared, of bothering them, or annoying them. |

I have lots of friends.
I make friends easily, that's probably why. But I'm still shy. Lol that rhymes. |

Everyone does need to recognize that everyone has their own lives. The best thing anyone can do is give them their space, even it seems like you or someone else is being selfish or boring at times. sci_geeek wrote:

To put it simply, you may not be giving them a lot of deserved space by being over-concerned. They will feel encroached, thus creating misunderstanding. JoyBaker wrote:

If you were to create a job ad / job description searching for a friend, what would that look like?
