Hola ladies and gentlemen, Guidesters, Writing Buddies and guests . . . 😆 😆 I have this writing game idea that we could try out in March, but I'll post the description here now so we can ask questions/discuss it/decide on what variants to play before then. Here's the overall idea/ the simplest way to play: [Group Interview Variation]A player will pick a character and introduce them to us. We'll ask the player questions, which they'll answer from their character's perspective. Example: It's BookwormJo's turn, and she decides to pick her character, Tara. Jo: Hey, everyone! My character is Tara, a 13-year-old who's in foster care. Her favourite colour is orange, she loves to play basketball, and she's typically very sassy. She's just moved to a new foster home with her twin brother Theo, and she's very nervous, but acts nonchalant and borderline rude to her new family to cover it up. Over the course of my novel, I'm planning to show her arc on how she goes from rejecting others to learning to live in a family and accept God's unconditional love.Guidesters: Okay! So, Tara, what's your favourite thing to do in your free time?Jo (from Tara's perspective): Ha, You'd never believe it, but I'm actually writing a book. It's called 101 Ways To Get Kicked Out of A Foster Home.Guidesters: Woah. Why?Jo (from Tara's perspective): It's funny. Good kids like you would never understand.Another guidester: What's your faith life like? Jo (from Tara's perspective): Ehhh . . . non-existent? Once upon a time I lived with Christians . . . I even considered myself a Christian. But a bunch of bad stuff happened and . . . look, I'd rather not talk about it, okay? Hmm, I hope that makes sense . . .
