The beautiful town of Cedertown
Rolling hills, lakes and ponds, mountains, valleys and meadows full of flowers, trees, and much more. By the lakes and ponds, there were ducks, rabbits, deer, and fish.
The citizens of Cedertown were friendly, country people. And of course, needless to mention, they were quite proud to live there. Among those citizens were 12 year old Mia and her 5 year old sister Ella. They were walking home from school as the sun shined brightly on them. “Mia, it’s such a nice day, isn’t it?,” exclaimed Ella. Mia looked down happily at her younger sister. “Yes, it is.” When they reached home, their mother made a wonderful lunch for them. As they all sat down to eat lunch, it’s seemed everything was right and nothing was wrong. But, they didn’t know what the next day would hold.

Oh no! A cliffhanger! Nice job and I can’t wait for the next chapter!
Thx😁😃
Hola Grace! Nice story about Cedartown! I wonder what the future holds for Mia and Ella . . .🙃
I like how you used some setting details to introduce us to Cedartown and set the mood. I’d love to see more senses included too, like smell, hearing, feeling, and maybe even taste. Maybe there’s the smell of ocean breeze or spring flowers. Maybe they listen to cars honk, gravel crunch, or grass swish. I think that would really deepen your story.
Looking forward to reading more! Keep up the good work!
Thank you for the ideas BookwormJo! I’ll try to include them in the next part!
