The Olympics are an opportunity for athletes to win medals for their country. The person that these countries send are the best representation of what each country has to offer. The cool thing is that no matter how these athletes do, they’re going to try their hardest because they’re representing more than themselves; they represent their country.
In the same way, we are all representatives of God. He’s chosen us to best represent His kingdom and it’s up to us to always try our best. Matthew 5:16 sums it up perfectly:
