Well my brother makes lego movies, I'll ask him to reply to you. Brother- Well, I am a Windows User so I will do my best... I usually do them on Adobe Illustrator. If you have Illustrator... Anyways, if you do not have Illustrator, then I suggest that you should not use the Iphoto on mac to do them, because to tell you the truth, it will take all night <--sorry that was sarcasm... I will give you a little advice. When taking the photos, I suggest about 7 pictures per second, and to practice making them walk before the actual film process. Also, ultimately, make sure you are saving your work as you edit it. Please reply, and tell me anything specific that you need help with

You left out a few details.

Lego movies are made through a process called 'Stop Motion'. Basically, you have a camera. You take a picture, and then move the LEGO parts slightly, and then you take another picture. It's a pretty long process. The FPS (Frames Per Second) is how many pictures you take for a single action. The more pictures (frames), the smoother, the less frames, the faster.

Brother- That would be correct, but I assumed that he understood that from the beginning. Thanks for clearing that up I would recommend about 7 fps. I would also like to re-suggest that yo practice all the moving in the movie before actually doing it.

Go on app store and type in stop motion or get a $400 that called dragon frame

iStopMotion is great
I use iMovie for stopmotion editing because I can't shell out the money to get FCPX
