Fast enough to squish anything in its path. One time we were at the zoo and a giraffe....or was it an ostrich...I don't remember...was walking along. There was a mother hen with her chicks walking around. Mr. Giraffe came along and promptly stepped on one of the chicks. It kinda kicked around for a bit and then died. The mother ignored it...

just a little story involving a giraffe that I thought was interesting.

a. Neither of them are rodenst, they are both marsupials.(meaning they have pouches)
b. Possums are actually really cute!! Google Pygmy Possums, Easter, Western, Mountain, or just Pygmy, THEY are CUTE!!! Baby ringtails are gorgeous... I've held one

My brother found it at his work on the ground and took it to an animal carer. But there are 3 things about possums that are concerning... 1. When they bite your finger because they mistake it for food (you aren't supposed to feed them anyway....) 2. When you are standing under the tree that one is in and it decides to relieve itself..... Possum pee is a dark, sticky, smelly syrup... And 3. when you are awakened at night by one thundering across your roof... You get the impression that the Zoo had loosed the elephants....
