has anyone noticed that besides maybe SGirven and a few others, there aren't a lot of really conservative people left here? like I remember feeling like more of a moderate Adventist, now I'm kind of feeling conservative on here. did y'all scare them off loll?
hey guys so I didn't mean politics but ok lol
yeah i was thinking about the conservative adventists vs the more liberal adventists and stuff like that,,, oh well i guess everything turns to politics nowadays :/

Because conservative adventists tend to be right leaning...they go hand in hand.
I mean... not necessarily, I am a conservative Adventist (well, kinda more moderate) and I hate politics of all times. Jesus never took sides in politics when He came, so why should we? No one's necessarily right or wrong. Democrats and Republicans are both right and wrong. Trump is both a good president and a bad president.
I could disagree with you...and argue...but I don't feel like it.
lol ok let's just agree to disagree :P

So here s where you lost me. Jesus would want us to take sides in politics. Why? Because there is either right or wrong. You don't want to be wrong, so you go with the right. Why? Because the wrong supports the unwarranted killings and massacres of human babies, the introduction of socialist and communist policies, the new green deal (which we would all die suffer and did I mention die from), a medicare for all policy (why is it wrong? have you ever heard of Canadas medicare for all? its horrible), AND a fracking ban, AND a policy of border anmisty (do you know how many of the people who come through the Mexican border need to go to prison and get on the national sex offenders list???)

So that is the difference between the right and wrong.

And just in case some day you just happen to wander into a voting booth, you should know that you have to pick a side eventually.

I think the people who would comment supporting conservative position are inactive, but I couldn't say why though. It might just be that they got older and left the forum. Also, I would guess that younger people are less conservative in general.

I was raised in a reasonably conservative Adventist home, was quite a rebel, pushed boundaries for years, and then realised that when you have the right focus, ‘conservatism’ isn’t bad. Those that give ‘conservatism’ a bit of a bad rep don’t have the right focus. They’re often acting out of fear of punishment rather than love for God.
Anyway, my philosophies aside, I left because I got fed up of arguing and being misunderstood. Can’t say that guide has changed much... but I guess that there are ~5 year ‘generations’ that cover the same ground every time on guide, so no point worrying about it.
So I’m a conservative, drop in every few months, mostly waiting for ALLISON to finish posting her story......  and to reminisce!
