I’m not smart enough to make that decision.

I think about that all the time: YES!!!

What's your favorite Bible story?
All the stories concerning David. Also, I really like the wisdom books of the Bible: Psalms, Proverbs, and Ecclesiastes.

What’s your secret talent?
If I had a secret talent, that would be like hiding it under a bushel, and we all know what the Bible says about that . . .

What was the first car you owned?
My ’96 Toyota Corolla. It’s been in my family for 15 years and has more than 200,000 miles.

Yuppers! I keep a professional jack in the trunk.

What is it like being a columnist for Guide?
It’s challenging at times. Every month counts, so every article written has to be meaningful. I treated my first article like my last and my last like my first. That's the best way to keep myself in check.

If you could go back in history and meet one person, who would it be, and why?
King Solomon; he was the wisest man who ever lived! I would definitely want his insight on a bunch of things.

Do you have pets?
No, but I have pests.

Where do you work?
Wherever God needs me.

What’s the most amazing thing God has ever done for you?
Waking me up this morning so He could use me as His servant.
